The most-picked March Madness champion every year since 2014
Every year, seeds No. 1 and No. 2 in the NCAA tournament console, they will receive most of the championships between Console Players. But sometimes one team attracts so much attention that there is a significant gap among the most selected elections. Other years BCG users have decomposed withdrawals.
Here is the view of the most selected winner of the Challenge Challenge Challenge, which returns to 2014. We also present a champion and its percentage-if this winner was not the same as the most cold champion.
2025
The most popular selection: Duke – 30.97
Champ: Florida – 17.51
In a very chalk tournament they created all four seeds No. 1 Final Four for the second time (2008 additional instances). But the Duke – led by the dominant star Freshman Star Cooper Flagg – was a refugee selection between men’s BCG records. Blue Devils lost to Houston in Final Four. Instead, the second most popular champion Pick reduced Nets when Florida won her third national title by gathering to beat Houston in the Championship game.
2024
The most popular selection (and champion): UConn – 26.09 percent
Huskies was repeated as national champions and became the first title team to be the most selected BCG champion from Villanov in 2018. UConn was the total seed no. These bears were the third most popular selection-but you can see the gap between these two (and Illinois, popular selection No. 2 to 15.70 percent)
2019
The most popular selection: Duke – 39.12 percent
Champ: Virginia – 5.86 percent
Duke seemed to have everything. Blue Devils won the title of ACC tournaments, were 29-5, grabbed the total seed No. 1-A Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and others. Add that all and more than 39 percent of BCG players have selected Duke to reduce networks. Blue Devils had close calls with No. 9 UCF and 4 Virginia tech before they fell into the state of Michigan No. 2 in an elite eight thriller.
Virginia, ACC champion in regular season, went all the way to 5.86 percent of BCG consoles. But one year after UVA lost with UMBC in a historical shocking 16-1-1, Cavaliers won their first national title.
2018
The most popular selection (and champion): Villanova – 17.52 percent
Virginia had total seed no. 1 on 31-2, but De’andre Hunter broke his wrist at ACC and had to miss the NCAA tournament. However, Cavaliers did not last, with the monumental distribution of Umbc No. 16, 16.46 percent of users left without their champion at the tournament after the first round.

2017
The most popular selection (and champion): North Carolina – 14.55 percent
UNC was both the most popular selection, as well as a 2017 champion, but there were not many gaps among Tar Heels and another favorite selection of BCG titles. Here is, as it was on top, including what would be the final rival of North Carolina (Gonzaga):

Champ: Duke – 10.54 percent
There was doubts about their popularity with undefeated wild cats in the field?

2014
The most popular selection: Florida – 26.04 percent

Here is the biggest surprise of all, at least returning to 2014.
Huskies was just seed no. 7 and 26-8 when they took the court to face No. 10 Saint Joseph’s to start their tournament run. Uconn won this one in Ot, before defeating No. 2 Villanova, No. 3 Iowa State, No. 4 Michigan State, No. 1 Florida and No. 8 Kentucky to win for the second time in four years. Uconn was the most popular selection of champion No. 22 in 2014.
Florida was a clear selection of 1 in 2014, because Michigan State (13.30) was the only other BCG champion for more than 10 percent of players. Of the three losses of the Gators of that season, two came to Uconn.
