The regular season of 2025 NWSL continues, just like my power rankings. We are officially two weeks in the season, and there are already some dips and peaks of mine Wake one ranking.

I am not sure if there is anyone who is proud of the Ultimate Crown this year, while Gotham FC had trouble getting to the scoreboard, but the Shutout victory of Kansas City against Washington Spirit certainly makes things more interesting at the top.

Although the top of my reviews does not have large fluctuations, the center of the ranking is still as gray as always. It appears that everyone can be half -average if you are hard enough mediocre enough! Some teams have not hit enough to really start their season, while others have shown some glimpse of their schedule personalities.

But there is a team that has taken a big dip. Racing Louisville could not build their opening week and starting midfielder Savannah Demelo left the competition with “Lightheadness”, and the list of injuries and absence seems to grow, so it is unclear how that can form their current season.

There is enough time for clubs to tips the ranking scales. Don’t miss an action, because fans can select NWSL Regular season races CBSCBS Sports NetworkParamount+and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Now, time for our week two rankings:

2025 NWSL Power Rankings

1.

Orlando Proud

The pride is so good that they don’t need Barbra Banda to get to the score sheet. This week it is Marta that bends the talent pool of the pride, cuts and punishes by lines.

2.

Kansas City Current

+1

Temwa Chawinga has two goals in two games and Kansas City starts well. The midfield trio of the current makes it difficult, especially when Lo’eau Labonta is so clinical about criminal conversions.

3.

Washington Spirit

-1

Spirit struggled to break through on the goal despite the fact that some control the ball and get decent appearance in week two. Rodman’s availability of the bank is a silver lining that goes ahead.

4.

NJ / NY Gotham FC

––

Despite a loss, the best team in the competition was not completely persuaded and managed to expose some weaknesses everywhere. Rookie Lily Real had a tough start (own goal), but she had a great reaction for 90 minutes and led the team with six tackles.

5.

Seattle Reign FC

+2

They let the job done even without signing their largest outdoor season Lynn Biyendolo. The bar was low for them at the start of the season, but they picked it up and improved a few former Playoff teams.

6.

North Carolina courage

Despite mostly solidified tactics, the courage simply cannot click. It can certainly just be a matter of timing, but there is a remarkable decoupling in the last third part for the time being.

7.

Houston Dash

+2

The dashboard was not rattled by a slow start on the road and soon became the dominant team after he had an early goal. Rookie Maggie Graham is one to look after two goals from the bank over two games.

8.

Utah Royals

-2

Mina Tanaka and Ally Sentnor are going to do great things for Utah this year, but this week their link-up equalizer was a short celebration.

9.

Bay FC

+1

This week showed a bit of a ruthless side and it can actually be what they go in in week three. Local Area Players Karlie Lema and Joelle Anderson have delivered coupling performance to build.

10.

San Diego Wave FC

+2

The Golf looks like a team that has ideas and performs them. New head coach Joans Eidevall’s first victory of the season comes with a new coupling performance by Gia Corely who has two goals and an assist in two games.

11.

Angel City FC

Kennedy Fuller is in the Baller mode with two goals in two games, but Angel City has not put together a full 90 minutes for a full victory.

12.

Racing Louisville FC

-4

The biggest drop for a team this week was because of all the questions before the season started, and even more “what now” after Demelo was stretched from the competition.

13.

Portland Thorns FC

Reilyn Turner scored a beauty of a goal and the team celebrated their first point of the year, but not enough against another team in the middle to low level to make a big leap in the power ranking.

14.

Chicago Stars FC

Officially on a losing series, Chicago had a promising spell in the opening of 15 minutes, but struggled over the rest of their home opener. Jamese Joseph remains a bright spot among the rolling clouds over the stars.
