NC State baseball sweeps No. 2 Clemson in ACC weekend series
The state NC swept Clemson No. 2 at the weekend at home and put together beating and pitching clinic to take off the tigers. Wolfpack surpassed Clemson 26-8 over a series of three games and raised his winning lane to seven.
Sweeping was the first for tigers, until this point in the season he did not encounter great problems. Before the weekend they did not lose their consecutive games or conference series.
The Barrage NC State started in the game 1 and poured at 14 runs to run Clemson 14-4 in eight shifts. Wolfpack had no switch, scored in every shift, with the exception of the seventh. In the first three shifts, they collected seven combined runs and ended the four-run eighth.
Junior Right Fielder Brayden Fraasman stole a show and went 5-5 with back-to-back home runs and seven rbi and finished only a triple shy cycle. Six other NC State players also collected at least two hits.

Wolfpack continued to dominate the plate in the game 2, recorded 13 hits and two homery, while Sophomore right handed Heath Andrews had the best start of the season. Although the tigers drew the first blood in the second shift for Sophomore designed by Hitter Collin Priest’s Solo Home Run, Andrews closed Tigers. He gave up only two runs for six hits and had a career with nine -nine blows in six shifts.

State NC scored in volumes, crossed two in consecutive shifts and four in the seventh as a result of the tricycle shack Sophomore Alex Sosa to the left center.
The last game of the series was the duel of the starting pitcher between Clemson’s BJ Bailey and Sophomore Lefty Ryan Maryn Wolfpack, who joined to throw 14.1 shifts.
Marohn won the battle and gave up only one Bailey running three using a two-RBI home run in the sixth shift that led to a 4-1 victory.

Clemson’s only run came from Sophomore second Baseman Jarren Purify’s Homer in the second, but the tiger bats then cooled. After the second shift, Clemson gathered three hits and set off seven times – three in the last shift.
The state climbed second in the ACC ranking with sweeping series and will face Miami on the road next weekend. Clemson will be looking for redemption in State 4 Florida since Friday.
