Braves’ Sean Murphy to miss Opening Day with cracked rib; what does that mean for top prospect Drake Baldwin?
Atlanta Braves Catcher Sean Murphy carried a broken left rib who will accompany him next month, According to MLB.comA number of Murphy, in turn, will be unavailable when the brave opens their schedule on March 27 against San Diego’s Padce.
Murphin, 30, is a prize winner of the former star and golden gloves, which comes out in 2024. The brave, however, distributed ways to Travis d’Arnaud (which was later signed with Los Angeles Angels) to start sliding in Chadwick’s Cadike, as long as he was ready for a more fundamental role. Baldwin, CBS Sports’ No. 32 perspectives: Hit 276 / .370 / .423 16 Home Runs between Double-and Triple-A last season. Last week we wrote about how Baldwin could break the Atlanta Day of the Worms.

In order to fall down sometime here, I should have imagined that Baldwin will be able to be behind the dish on the busiest. I do not believe that the same dynamics would be true if the brave lost copy of Chadwik Thom to IL; Instead, I assume that Atlanta will make a veteran not list of veteran, like Curt Casali or Sandy León. To say all this: I think Baldwin debut will probably come later this season.
Braves are also planned to access the year without Outfielder Ronald Acuña Junior Jr. and Ace Spencer Strider, as they work on their main injuries. Veteran Reliever Joe Jiménez is expected to miss the most if not the whole year.
