Texas leads latest NCAA baseball tournament bracket predictions, by D1Baseball

We are a few weeks after the mark in the middle of the center, and that means it is time for the latest D1baseball Field 64 projections. Note that during the week of the conference tournament we will have weekly screenings leading to selecting Mondays and daily screen updates.

As for fundamental changes from our projections in the middle of the season, three teams dropped out of protected top-osm national seeds: Florida State, LSU and UCLA. All three teams are still strongly in a mix for the eight best, but other teams have been overcome in the last two weeks. These three teams include Auburn, Georgia Tech and Oregon State.

As for the 16 best seeds, four teams have fallen out of the hosting mix: UC Irvine, Arizona State, Alabama and Kansas State. In addition to Georgio Tech and Auburn, Arizona and TCU entered as hosts in our latest projections.
