The most amazing parts of the NCAA basketball tournament are often upset. Sure, they can beat the holders, but the excitement of Cinderella is always unforgettable.
Looking back at the tournament since 64 teams were expanded in 1994, you will see that when Cinderell, the seeds no. But 12 seeds have 31 wins from expansion.

As you will see, the highest seeds have – by far – the most victory and the best victory. These 475 victories in 31 years on average 15.3 per year. This means that seed no. For comparison, 332 seeds no. This is the whole victory for seeds No. 1 – again proves that while vaccination does not have to be the only thing that matters, helps.
And out of 16 seeds has only six winning record – No. 1 to 6. Although seeds no. 7 are higher seeds in the first game, 7s dropped below 0.500, because they lose no. 10 in the first round higher than the seeds no. 2 in the second round. The same with seeds no. 8/9. In the first round they lose in the first round before they defeated seeds No. 1 in the second round.
The most victory of the seed in one tournament is 19, when all four seeds No. 1 reached Final Four and combined with 19-3. This also means that three losses in these years (2012, 2015, 2018) came other Seeds No. 1.
