Mike Krzyzewski emerged for most of the 1995 season, recovering from back surgery and Blue Devils suffered one of the worst era periods, 13-18 and 2-14 in ACC. And when hosting tar heels No. 2, it looked more. Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse immersed themselves with soaking and UNC climbed on a 17-point lead. But Duke would gather to force overtime. At the end of the next period, Blue Devils were three with three seconds down. Enter: Jeff Capel. Capel exhausted the despair from the logo to force double overtime and send Cameron’s inner into madness. UNC would win the game in two overtime, but Capel’s shot would live on.
