2025 NHL playoff picture: Standings, schedule, start date, teams that have clinched, projected series matchups

The Stanley Cup Playoffs Race is really heating. There is only a good number of games left for each team to play, as everyone is betting on winning the cup and sowing each conference could be very interesting this year.

In the east, only two playoff points are maintained after Ottawa Senators won a Playoff site with a loss of Detroit Wings in Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday. The first time the senators will appear in the Playoffs of the Stanley Cup since the 2016-17 season.

In the West, there are three points left now that the Los Angeles Kings have joined Vegas Golden Knights as two teams in the Pacific Division to seal the Playoff atracs. The Wild Card race is very interesting now that the Minnesota Wild has searched, leaving the door open to teams like the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks.

• The first three teams in each division are automatically ranked for the playoffs.
• Each conference has two wild card points.
• The winner of the upper division of each conference will play the second team of Wild Card and the other winner of the division will play the first team of Wild Card.
• The second and third place in each division will coincide with each other in the first round.
