2025 NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey championship selections revealed

The Men’s Hockey Committee of the NCAA Division also selected 16 teams, which will be attended by the ice hockey championship NCAA Division I.

Play -off championship format includes four pre -determined regional places with four teams assigned to each site. Regional winners advance to the frozen four men. The whole championship uses a format with one elimination.

Automatic qualification permissions are awarded Postseason champions to six conferences. The rest of the field is selected in general.

Boston College is the total seed No. 1. Other seeds No. 1 include Michigan State, University of Maine and Western Michigan.
