What is the HBCU Legacy Bowl?
HBCU Legacy Bowl is Postseason HBCU Football All-Star Game, which contains the best prospects eligible for the design of historically black universities and universities. HBCU Legacy Bowl began in 2022 and is introduced annually by Black College Football Hall of Fame. In 2023, HBCU Legacy Bowl connected with the NFL to host HBCU combined in front of the game. In 2024, AllState joined HBCU Legacy Bowl as a title partner.

2025 HBCU Legacy Bowl Coaches
Two teams of HBCU Legacy Bowl are Team Gaither and Robinson, named after the legendary HBCU coaches Jake Gaither (Florida A&M) and Eddie Robinson (Grambling State). Team Gaither will be guided by coaches of co -owners Chennis Berry (State of South Carolina) and Alvin Parker (Virginia Union). The Robinson team will be guided by coaches of the co -owners TC Taylor (Jackson State) and Sam Shade (Alabama A&M – trained on Miles in 2024).
