2024-25 NHL injury tracker: Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk on LTIR after injuring groin in 4 Nations Face-Off

Florida Panthers’s search to repeat as Stanley Cup champions has been very successful. After injuring their intake on the 4 nations, the Panthers announced that star striker Matthew Tkachuk has been placed in Lir and will probably leave until the Playoffs of the Stanley Cup.

“Matthew will be out of a long period of time. We hope to return it to the playoffs”, Said Bill ZitoAccording to the official website of Jameson Olive of the Panthers.

In addition to Tkachuk, some other teams are treating important injuries to their blue line. The New York Rangers and Nashville Pedators meet with Adam Fox and Roman Josi became struck.

Fox, the winner of the Norris Trophy of 2021, left the game on Tuesday against the islanders with an injury to the upper body. Since then, the team has placed it on the injured reservation, although it is expected before the regular season is over. Fox has been easily the best defender of the Rangers, and the team will lose their presence in two directions as he struggles with a Playoff site.

The predators are not in the playoff race, but their chances of ending strong worsened with Roman Josi who came out of his loss in the panthers last week. Josi was run over behind Sam Bennett and head entered the glass. Josi, also winner of the Norris Trophy, does not have its best season, but it is still the straw that shakes the drink in Nashville.

A couple of more defenders, including Charlie McAvoy (Bruins) and Shea Theodore (Golden Knights) still feel the effects of the 4 nations face. MCAVOY has an infection derived from a shoulder injury and Theodore is a week a week with a wrist injury.
